LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF......
Hello and welcome! My name is Lauren, the creator behind the scenes here, specialising in bespoke hair and make up, tailored to the individual, bringing a luxury bridal, timeless and editorial feel.
My ethos to your wedding experience is to bring a calming approach, making every part of your journey as relaxing as I can - whilst making your visions come true.
I take great pride in being able to say that I still get just as excited with every wedding. It always gives me a tremendous sense of satisfaction, making people feel beautiful with the work that I do. I am there to offer all support on the morning of probably the biggest day of your life, from doing your hair and make up, to putting your veil in, helping you get in your dress and making sure everything is perfect just before you walk down the aisle.
My style is very much based on enhancing peoples beautiful features, emphasizing on natural beauty and giving a little extra to make you feel special. I trained in the editorial field and that's the feel i bring to my work.
Where is all started for me...
My career in hair and make-up started in Salons over 17 years ago and that's also when my genuine passion for this work started. Having attended numerous fashion shows, seen wonderful artists at work in their specialist fields and already having a keen interest in fashion, I decided to expand on my knowledge and build on my existing experience as a highly qualified hairdresser, and enrolled in the London based, 'Glauca Rossi School of Make Up'. It was here that the love for my ‘art’ began and I realised the joy of using my skills to bring a smile to peoples’ faces through beautiful make-up.
Now, as a make-up artist, I have worked freelance within the fashion/editorial industry with designers, photographers, models and stylists, primarily on solo projects as well as working in some of the top department stores in London and the South East of England. My work hasn’t only been limited to the UK though, I have also practiced my art on the Greek Islands, Croatia and Australia.
I am based in Winchelsea and Rye, South East England but cover East Sussex and Kent. I am happy to travel to wherever my work may take me and have now added more stunning international locations to my list including; Hvar, Australia, the South of France and Italy.
